I’m going to vegas in February and will have a rent a car for 1 day and want to go off the strip for some sightseeing? I have already been to Hoover Damn and don’t want to visit again, so I need other options. Anything you can offer will help, including directions on how to get there. Thanks.

my high school homecoming is on september 27 and me and about 10-15 other friends wanted to rent a party bus for about 5-6 hours. what we were going to do was have the party bus pick us up at one location, take us to homecoming, we were going to go in, take pictures, socialize and then get back on the party bus and take it down to the las vegas strip. then, have the party bus drop us all off at the location it picked us up at. does anyone have any suggestions on party buses that are fun but not too too expensive. i dont want my friends to pay over 70 dollars each for the night.

Party buses tend to run $125-200/hr. At $125/hr x 6 hrs = $725. $725/15 people = $50/person. I’d get the money upfront from your friends and make sure enough people are committed..

They’re all pretty much the same inside. Plasma TVs, dvd players, great sound system, fancy lighting, a wet bar (which won’t be stocked), a stripper pole.. The bus doesn’t make anything fun, since you can find all that stuff anywhere you go, it’s the people in the bus.

Almost everyone who goes to night clubs in Las Vegas are so slim, fit, buff, and beautiful…my question is…

Which Night Club There Is In Las Vegas Where People Won’t Judge By Heavy Weight People?

there are big chicks everywhere…as long as you’re dressed hot, hair done, nice make up, etc…you’ll be fine

Fine Dining on Las Vegas Strip?

I’m looking for a fine dining, preferably french, on Las Vegas Strip. I’d like to have a tasting menu, maybe 5 courses, and was wondering what’s a good choice for $150-$200 per person with wine pairing? I’d appreciate personal experiences (please dont send me the link to Frommer’s)

Bouchon…Thomas Keller’s place at the Venetian. Thomas Keller…owns a little place called The French Laundry.

Daniel Bouloud Brasserie at the Wynn (he of his four-star place in NYC).

Can’t say about a tasting menu (personally, I’ve been to one too many of them…the only time I’ve enjoyed them is doing the omakase at a sushi restaurant).

Bouchon was superlative. Everything was perfect (I had shortribs, my date had the lamb, our friend had their poulet roti…he said it was the best chicken he ever had). Easily the best meal I’ve had in Las Vegas. The wine list runs the gamut. If you like mussels at all, Bouchon has the best, and I’m not kidding.

DB’s place was great brasserie chow; the wine list was…okay. If you’re really into wine I’d say Bouchon. My steak au poivre was outstanding; a simple dish made outstanding. We had a perfectly fine cabernet to go with.
