Video footage from my August 8-12, 2009 camping trip in Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon in Southern Utah. Places traveled include: Zion National Park – Angel’s Landing, Canyon Overlook, Emerald Pools, Riverside Walk, Weeping Rock, and the Zion Narrows. Bryce Canyon – Bristlecone Loop, Queens Garden, Rim Trail, Sunrise Point, Sunset Point, Inspiration Point, Rainbow and Yovimpa, Natural Bridge, and Fairyland Canyon. Video shot with a Canon 500D. Lenses: Canon 10-22, 50 f/1.4, and 70-200L f/4 IS. Time Lapse portions done with a Canon S5IS running CHDK firmware and the Ultra Intervalometer script.

Me and my girlfriend are going to Vegas for the first time for just 3 days, we feel the tour is a little long. Will it be worth the time as oppose to spending em 4 hours of fun exploring the strip?

My wife and I are heading to Vegas in a few weeks and really want to do a Grand Canyon helicopter tour from Las Vegas. Has anyone done this and give me some information on which company they used. I want to schedule it ahead of time. I don’t want a company that’s going to pack a lot of hidden cost either. I just want a company that’s going to be safe and legit.

I wonder if anyone has ever done a wedding in a helicopter in Las Vegas, either over the Strip or the Grand Canyon. Was is worth for this special day? [we are planning a small wedding for just two of us and two witnesses]

What is there to do in Death Valley as a tourist? I wouldn’t want to just sit and get fried by the sun. Something exciting.
