I am planning to go on a road trip (with friends in a rented RV) from San Francisco to Las vegas in May going through the Death Valley, and I would like to know: from which point to which point should I expect to have no cell phone reception?

I know there’s barely any cell phone coverage going through the death valley but where about does cell phone coverage disappear and were about does it come back?

We will be driving from northern Arizona to Vegas in early March and don’t have a lot of time but would like to visit either of the parks. Which one is more worthwhile to visit? And how long is the drive to either one from Kingman?

Just wondering if anyone had any fabulous spots, hikes, or views to share. Also, what is the best camping spot? My husband said he thought there was some camping on the river…anyone know the name of that area?

We’ve already done the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and the Valley of Fire (which was FANTASTIC!) The only sites I’ve seen on Mt. Charleston are right along the road; maybe there’s something hidden off the beaten path? We’re looking for somewhere we can pitch a tent and light a campfire, with some good scenery/hiking trails. Zion is a bit too popular but if you know of a cool spot we’re open to suggestions.
