bit.ly I had the chance to shoot some video at Hoover Dam and thought it would be fun to do a tilt-shift effect on it. Seeing such a monstrous creation look like a toy is cool. I particularly like the second to last shot, which looks down at the Colorado River from atop the dam.
Next week we will be flying out to Las Vegas. While we are there we plan on renting a car and driving out to see the Hoover Dam. Is there anything to see on the way out to or surrounding the dam? We don’t really want to go too far past the dam, are there any parts of the Grand Canyon near it? The closest part I could find was a 5 hour drive, that’s way too far. Any ideas? Thanks!
