This is a short video of our drive to the Grand Canyon (West Rim) on a rocky, unpaved road.

During my vacation took a helicopter from Vegas to the Grand Canyon and back.
A visit at the famous Skywalk.
The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a transparent horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge and tourist attraction in Arizona near the Colorado River on the edge of a side canyon in the Grand Canyon West area of the main canyon. USGS topographic maps show the elevation at the Skywalk’s location as 4770 ft (1450 m) and the elevation of the Colorado River in the base of the canyon as 1160 ft (350 m), and they show that the height of the precisely vertical drop directly under the skywalk is between 500 ft (150 m) and 800 ft (240 m)
Hye everyone.. I’ll be visiting Grand Canyon this June and hope to book a tour from Vegas. I can see the South Rim tour is considerably cheaper than West Rim tour generally, but I don’t mind paying 40 bucks more if it is worth it. Any suggestion about it (including the tour company would be really appreciated) Thanks!
www.GrandCanyonBusDeals.com I go over what to expect on a bus tour from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon’s most famous attraction, the Grand Canyon Skywalk. The Glass Bridge, which gets over 200000 visits a year, takes you 70 feet past the edge and lifts you 4000 feet above the Colorado River.
On the return flight from the Grand Canyon at sunset, a look at the lights of the Vegas Strip from above… We had landed in the Canyon for a champagne lunch (supplied) and circled over the Hoover Dam. We paid the extra to fly in an EC-130 helicopter, rather than the A-Star. Helicopter tours aren’t cheap, but well worth it!!!
