For those of you who follow my sleepy operation, this is finally the compilation of the several Grand Canyon flight videos. Complete with music compliments of Steve Miller (and Band) and John Williams and the Boston Pops, it is here. Lifting off from Boulder City NV we see from the air Boulder City, NV, Lake Mead Reservoir which is plugged tightly by Hoover Dam, a giant for anyone who has ever stood before it, a tiny bit of chewing gum in a knot hole, from 10000′. We’ll then fly up and over the Colorado Plateau to see how it has been ripped at its deepest seam and how a river, further eroded that rip as we land on the west rim of the Grand Canyon of North America and Arizona. Grand Canyon National Park, the Hualapai Reservation, Flat plains at nearly 4000′ asl, tiny side canyons which broaden and join the 3800 feet deep (to river) Grand Canyon.
*I don’t need anything fancy (I don’t need champagne or lunch, or even to land IN the Grand Canyon, and if it makes it cheaper, I don’t need limo transfers, as we will have a hire car)
*I’m on a budget
*I just want to see the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas from the air
(possibly at sunset, but not picky)
I’ve checked out Papillon and Sundance.
Too expensive, and have all this extra stuff I don’t really need.
Can anyone recommend a smaller company, that does a basic flight?
But that are still professional and reliable.
Thrilling helicopter flight over Las Vegas at night! The sparkling lights and glittering signs creates a beautiful Las Vegas view and a memorable experience.
Helicopter night flight Las Vegas downtown and the strip on Friday the 25th of September. The Music used for this video is Robert Tepper: Angel of the city & Jean Beauvoir: Feel the heat. If you like this music, buy the original. You can find both tracks on the original soundtrack of Cobra (Sylvester Stallone).
Amazing tour of the Las Vegas Strip from a helicopter. All the neons on the strip are magnificent especially when viewed from above. If you are planning to go to Vegas this is definitely worth it.
