I finally got to experience Las Vegas with my very own eyes. Make sure you have a good pair of walking shoes at Las Vegas. From casino to casino, it’s allot of walking. Even from your hotel room to the lobby of some casinos. The Grand Canyon is only a few hours drive from Vegas. It was snowing prior arriving at the west rim of the canyon and it was awesome. The sun broke through the clouds and it was spectacular.
View the approaches and Cross the Hoover Dam June 2007 on a slow moving coach across the dam. Work was going on the construction a new bridge as part of the new bypass. Best view of the dam is towards the end of the video.
Hoover Dam is an outstanding achievement, not only for its enormous dimensions, complex design and intricate construction, but also for its illustration of man’s outstanding ability.
